Located in ‘Cyber Village’ on Hong Kong Island, Bel-Air comprises multiple high-rise towers built by London architects Foster & Partners between 2005-2008.

The brief to RSA was to revitalise the communal gardens and water features to give this development a more sophisticated and European feel, as well as encourage the landscape to complement the surrounding buildings by adding a 3D viewpoint for people to sit and enjoy. This also involved greatly embellishing the type of planting, therefore RSA fully investigated the local market and found excellent nurseries on the Chinese mainland that were able to fulfill the planting brief and keep transport costs to a minimum.
