Landscape design for Imperial College, Kensington, London

RSA was appointed by the Imperial College Estates Division as landscape architects to undertake a feasibility study with outline sketch design proposals for the hard and soft landscapes at the South Kensington campus of Imperial College. The study includes the development of a management and maintenance strategy.

South Kensington is the university’s principal campus and comprises a unique ensemble of buildings and spaces set out between the museum district of South Kensington and the Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park. This is an area that enjoys one of the best environments in London, largely due to the high architectural quality, open parkland and cultural status.
