Residential Garden Design Portfolio
Holland Park Garden Design, London
This garden was designed to create a traditional Victorian English garden to meet the specific tastes and requirements of the client, with a high level of input from Alain Bouvier Associates.
Chamonix Garden Design, France
This luxury chalet, located in the hills of Chamonix, France, overlooks the mountain ranges of Mont Blanc. The garden brief was to design an enclosed space, while still maintaining views out into the wider landscape.
Denham Place Garden Design, Bucks, Slough
Randle Siddeley’s team was involved in the restoration and refurbishment of this Grade II mansion and parkland, originally laid out by Capability Brown. Working with a landscape restoration specialist to obtain planning consent, RSA prepared an estate restoration master plan that conserved and complimented the existing landscape.
Edwardian House Garden Design
Randle Siddeley was involved in the sympathetic landscaping of a newly refurbished Edwardian House overlooking the golf course. The aim of the design was to create a balance between the house and its surroundings. Softened by the cypress trees, borders of wisteria and hundreds of agapanthus mixed with lavender, now descend to the main entrance from the colonnade.
Eaton Square Garden Design, London
For this elegant house on Eaton Square, Randle Siddeley Associates were appointed to create a series of external spaces comprising a unique winter garden connecting the main building with the mews and terraces on different levels.
The Boltons Garden Design
The bold design of this small but prestigious London garden affords a deceptive illusion of depth and space. The adventurous employment of structured features is laid out to a contrastingly simple grid design.
Old Church Street Garden Design, Chelsea, London
This small roof garden located in the heart of Chelsea was designed with simplicity in mind. Clean lines and clipped planting were used to achieve a semi-formal garden that facilitates special efficiency whilst ensuring it remained open and uncluttered.
The Knightsbridge Garden Design, London
The fifth floor roof terrace in this prestigious Knightsbridge development required an outdoor entertainment area with adaptable seating, ‘lush’ screen planting and focal features.
Eldon Road Garden Design
Originally owned and laid out by the fashion designer Hardy Amies the garden was tired and needed rejuvenating. The pleached trees were retained form the original design but to satisfy the new client many structural changes were required. The original layout had no access from the ground floor, only through the lower ground.
Drayton Place Garden Design
The clients wanted better access to the garden both from the lower ground floor and the ground floor. The garden had to provide some play space and an entertaining area while reflection the contemporary style of the house internally.
Catherine Place Garden Design
This garden is on the lower-ground-floor level of a London house, so it is to all intents and purposes a basement courtyard. It is overlooked by surrounding properties and tiny in comparison to the house itself. Originally, the only feature of merit was some established camellias.
Sydney Street garden Design
This London townhouse has a veritable sun trap garden, but is overlooked by building on three sides. The design for this once over-grown basement level garden was dictated by the client’s insistence that it should look good with minimal maintenance.
Eastern Mediterranean Garden Design
This private garden located in close proximity to the sea in a prestigious suburb was designed in close collaboration with Kelly Hoppen Interiors. The garden was designed to reflect the unique and clean line of the interiors and was developed with constant input and feedback from the client as the project matured.
Saint Tropez Garden Design, France
The brief was to create a new garden for an existing country house set in seven acres of arid and derelict land. The extensive works involved terracing the hillside and planting olive groves, lavender, agapanthus and cypresses to promote views across the Mediterranean.
Georgian Country Estate Garden Design, Gloucestershire
Situated in a steeply sloping Cotswold valley, the restoration of this Georgian country estate with its Grade ll listed house centred on reworking the steeply sloping gardens that were overshadowing the rear of the house.
Old Rectory Garden Design, Winchester
Set in 10 acres, The Old Rectory near Winchester was worthy of a more gracious setting that would afford the house a presence in keeping with its elegant, red brick Georgian architecture.
Tusmore Park Garden Design, Oxfordshire
Tusmore Park was awarded the prize of ‘Best Modern House in a Classical Tradition’ in 2004. The house replaces an earlier 1964 ‘weak’ replacement of the original 18th Century house designed by Robert Milne, a superb example of the classical country house; eventually it was demolished in 1961.
The Vale Garden Design
The Vale is set within the conservation area of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It comprises a Grade II Listed family home and garden.
Garden Design for The Old Garden
The property comprises a 3.2-acre garden overlooking the river. The brief was to take an established, tired garden from the early 20th century into the 21st century, while still keeping the skeleton (including many valuable mature trees) incorporating a simple, classic layout.
Oakhill Avenue Garden Design, London
Contemporary renovation of an Arts & Craft House in Hampstead, remaining true to the movement’s philosophy through the use of specialist natural materials and bespoke hand-made construction for all the garden elements.
Lansdowne Walk Garden Design, London
The client on this project was extremely proactive and took a keen interest in every element of the process that was extremely rewarding for the team. By including lighting and new materials, the original design of the water feature evolved into something more contemporary.
